The Habema's Smart Papua Roused The Enthusiasm Of Kago Children

PUNCAK - One of the military units under the command of the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, the Task Forces of the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, is currently conducting mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in the Puncak Regency, Papua Tengah Province. On Saturday, 21 September 2024, the 323 Task Forces, especially the Kotis Ilaga Post led by Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, was creative in conducting its duties by sharing National Insight with the children of Kago Village, Ilaga District. Inside the Post, the Soldiers had a chance to conduct Social Communication (Komsos).

Emphasizing the Soldiers' role, the Commander of the 323 Task Forces, LtCol Tri, stressed the importance of the Task Forces’ inclusive Social Communication with all parties in the community around the Post. This message was not just words but an immediate call to action, a reassurance of the Soldiers' unwavering commitment to the community. Therefore, the Soldiers have professionally prepared National Insight for the children. During the interaction, the Soldiers also prepared several pieces of school bags and stationery to be distributed, a testament to their dedication to the community.

When several children from the Kago Village visited the Post, the Soldiers invited them to communicate, and the children responded enthusiastically. In the communication, the Soldiers joked and interacted with the children while inserting the National Insight prepared earlier. In response to the presentation, one of the children, Joni Sondegau, mentioned, "Stay motivated, Papuan Children. Long live TNI." Towards the end of the communication, the Soldiers distributed school bags and stationery to the children, and they were greeted with overwhelming joy. This heartwarming sight brought smiles to everyone's faces.

After receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, acknowledged the 323 Task Forces’ initiative to conduct social communication by delivering National Insight and distributing school bags and stationery to Kago children. His words: "The 323 Task Forces' initiative is a testament to TNI's commitment to conduct inclusive social communication to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region." This acknowledgment from the highest authority in HABEMA underscores the importance of such initiatives and highlights the value and importance of the Task Forces' work. It instills a sense of hope and optimism about their potential to impact the region's development positively. It makes the Task Forces and the community feel recognized and appreciated for their efforts.
